What changed

The Decoder reported on October 8, 2026 that Anthropic launched Claude Dashboards and Claude Motion in beta. Anthropic says Dashboards connects company data to updating visualizations on paid plans, while Motion creates editable animations on Team and Enterprise plans. Anthropic also says Docs, Slides and Design have left beta and are available across plans, including Free.

02

Why it matters

Anthropic says dashboard numbers expose their underlying queries, while animations expose editable code and can be exported as MP4 files. These inspection points could make generated work easier to check and revise than an opaque finished output. That is a workflow advantage to evaluate, not evidence that the resulting analysis is correct.

03

The caveats

Anthropic says Motion animates text, charts, shapes and images rather than using a video-generation model. Enterprise access also requires administrator action: Anthropic says Dashboards and Motion are off by default, while Docs, Slides and Design switch on by default October 15. The retained sources provide no independent accuracy or productivity evaluation.
